dumb hill for me to die on today: “vegan leather” is not leather and calling it leather is using deceptive advertising. i don’t have a problem with it as a product (other than it’s not as durable or nice as leather), but calling it “leather" is just misleading. — PolitiTweet.org

i completely understand why someone doesn’t want a product made from animal products, that’s totally fine and a choice! but call it what it is, by calling it “leather” you are implying it has the qualities of leather, which it doesn’t. — PolitiTweet.org
