@stanhoraczek the tethering software i use is actually quite fast and light, and since in this format i only work with JPEGs, it’s fine. it’s the computer that gets taxed, battery life goes to hell, etc. will check out photomechanic though, ty — PolitiTweet.org

@stanhoraczek the iPad has a lot of advantages that are hard to match with a Mac or PC — integrated LTE, long battery life, light weight on my lap, etc. i currently use a 2017 Surface Pro for it because it’s the only reasonable machine with LTE modem, but the iPad will run laps around it — PolitiTweet.org
