i will say that Google’s solutions for launching the Assistant with these new gestures enabled are T-E-Terrible. Swipe in from the bottom corner? whatttt? why not just map a press of the power button to do it? i mean, if you’re going to copy the iPhone, why not go all the way? — PolitiTweet.org

yes, OnePlus already maps a 0.5s press of the power button to launch Assistant, with a 3 sec press to power the phone down. Google just needs to copy this. — PolitiTweet.org

@dcseifert It's funny how Google (the owner/creator of the OS) is struggling while OEMs like @oneplus have done a better job
