In 2013, I began a campaign for mayor, & have served ever since my 2014 elections. 2) I never advocated for a 500-mile mid-coast district. I reached out to several Peninsula community and political leaders to offer to join voices for change of the ridiculous 500-mile-long district, which could be done w/o making San José the only major US city without a majority district — PolitiTweet.org
