The whole Periscope situation has been handled poorly. We had hundreds of videos there, built a strong community within the app, then it was unplugged by Twitter without warning and now is being wiped out. Not a great way to build trust with content creators — PolitiTweet.org

I say this as someone who loves Twitter, and loved Periscope. It was a great build-on feature and took the whole experience to the next level. Pioneered livestreaming and still had better functionality than most of the other major social media platforms — PolitiTweet.org
