There could also be an ethnic component in the fatality risk of the virus. We see that with other diseases such as sickle cell anemia. So it is at least a possibility. A Chinese study months ago suggested the same. — PolitiTweet.org

@CanaaniteR Another possibility. But my *guess* is that certain ethnic groups are more at risk to die based on biological differences. This would explain the very low death rate for Iceland. But, there are probably many factors. We know sex is such a factor as most deaths are male. — PolitiTweet.org
