@YNB Just got to that part of the Miles doc (by the great Stanley Nelson). Leaving the U.S. has long been a wake up call for Black artists, soldiers etc. It crystalized the damage and destruction racism and discrimination in America does, in ways you can’t really know until you leave. — PolitiTweet.org
