It actually doesn’t even prepare you for law practice - it’s very theoretical, and it’s extremely competitive, pitting students against one another in ways I felt suffocating. Jill’s right -it does open doors- but it’s also not for everyone, and it’s obscenely expensive if you have to pay for yourself.
