In the late Brezhnev era, I stopped studying Soviet domestic politics and switched to my research (& the subject of my DPhil) to southern African liberation movements. Was much more interesting. (Even learned Portuguese!) Feel the same about Russian politics today. Am I wrong? — PolitiTweet.org
