It is interesting that the paper made the decision to have Twitter serve more or less as the replacement for the public editor, but they're probably right that media twitter crowd-sources that job in an ok way. Emphasis on ok (I think a clear voice/articulation is always nice) 3/ — PolitiTweet.org

Inevitably along the way I'm sure it feeds left-leaning bias. The Times is a behemoth—it's hard news, culture, mag, etc etc, there's lots of kinds of writing and thinking going on there and media industry-wide is pretty white/college educated, which is left-leaning demo 5/ — PolitiTweet.org
