@LawDavF Not sure about that. The 1st Tank Army, 45th Spetsnaz Brigade, and other units based in Moscow invaded on Feb 24 and were in combat right away. The issue is that some of these units had greater personnel issues because the cost of living in Moscow is higher than other regions. — PolitiTweet.org

@LawDavF The financial incentives are more effective at attracting volunteers from poorer regions. So the disparity in which regions are suffering casualties is mostly a structural one that existed before the war began, and I don't think Putin/Shoigu realized the 1st Tank Army's issues. — PolitiTweet.org
