This ED Tex ruling by Judge Barker is a throwback to a long-since rejected 19th century view of the Commerce Power. Not even today’s right-leaning Supreme Court would accept it. The eviction moratorium should be promptly reinstated. https://t.co/zjJh9WHAZ2 — PolitiTweet.org

Even if this Plan B is awkward, it’s way better than no $15 minimum wage at all, and it can’t reasonably be ruled out as part of budget reconciliation. Dems who’re opposed should recall how the ACA was upheld as a tax measure. Strike while the iron is hot! https://t.co/yBYuk4p0N4 — PolitiTweet.org

Of course the moratorium remains intact apart from the parties to the ED Tex lawsuit. Even as to them, the court’s crazy ruling should be reversed. See Russell v. U.S. (1985)(9-0), which remains binding law after US v. Lopez (1995). — PolitiTweet.org
