Even on Dec 21, the sun in London doesn't set until 3.53. so it isn't dark till abt 4.30. Sunset on November 1 is at 4.34, so it's not dark till about 5. On Dec 21 sunrise in London is at 8.04. so it's light well before that. In Paris (on Berlin time) sun doesn't rise till 8.41 — PolitiTweet.org
