@aulmer51 Actually I think the poor Germans spend the summer madly observing the time in Minsk, Belarus. They only use Berlin time in Berlin in the winter. Don’t ask me why. This clock-fiddling has some weird results. — PolitiTweet.org

@aylmer51. Yes, I know what BST *stands* for. But, far more importantly, I know what it is . It is not at all British - but it is the correct time for the zone around the meridian 15 degrees east of ours. This was the meridian chosen by imperial Germany , hence Berlin. — PolitiTweet.org
