.@haydnjones1 GMT is the Greenwich Time zone. BST is the Berlin Time Zone. So in general it make sense for places closer to Greenwich than to Berlin to use GMT. I don't think anywhere in this country is closer to Berlin than it is to Greenwich, but I am open to correction. — PolitiTweet.org
