Yes, there's some "diversity casting" in this Medieval kingdom, but it doesn't really detract from the story and the film certainly didn't seem to be motivated by this—unlike this new version. And yes, there's some saccharine silliness, but, again, these issues are forgivable. — PolitiTweet.org

I've seen a few spots for the new *Cinderella* on Amazon, and it looks beyond horrible. I recently watched Kenneth Branagh's 2015 version for Disney, which is really excellent. Go check out that instead. — PolitiTweet.org
