I hate Schönberg. I like Stravinsky, another one whom Adorno bashed (again, in quasi-racist language). Adorno, in later years, came to appreciate Wagner. And he has good taste in pre-20th cent. music. I think he made himself like Schönberg though effortful control. — PolitiTweet.org

@heraclitean11 I kinda like jazz when it’s added as an ornament or embellishment to music that’s good on its own, in the sense of “jazzing something up.” A little splash of decadence, so to speak.
