What's fascinating about this is the implied "death sentence," retroactive apologizing, and "retconning" of public morality. In 2000, blackface was certainly considered offensive, but it was acceptable in many contexts, like sketch comedy, halloween, frat parties, etc. — PolitiTweet.org
