@recordedvoice We were between “effing” and “f’ing.” I think the former underscores that the speaker didn’t say the word, but the latter conveys what the speaker is actually trying to say. We say “fucking” in quoted copy, so I kind of made an executive decision and will update the style guide. — PolitiTweet.org
