@waltmossberg @facebook There was a lengthy hearing about 230 in Congress today, and no one proposed actually abolishing 230, but lots of discussion on carving out various types of bad content for increased liability. @waltmossberg @facebook I think Facebook would welcome such a law! They are one of the few companies that can bear the cost, and most of its smaller competitors would fold. Zuck himself pointed out FB investment in safety is bigger than Twitter’s revenue. I hesitate to cede it all to them. — PolitiTweet.org
