Was thinking yesterday that, here in 2023, when we say “the 2000s” we mean the decade from 2000 to 2009. But starting in 77 years—in the year 2100—the “2000s” (like “the 1800s” or “the 1900s”) will mean this *century*. So in a sense we’re both in and *not* in the 2000s right now. — PolitiTweet.org
