(In theory a juror might vote for acquittal in a first vote just to ensure there’s a full airing of the evidence, but after 6 weeks clearly there *was* going to be an airing out even if the initial vote was unanimous for conviction, so I struggle to think that that explains it.) — PolitiTweet.org
