It goes without saying that a DC jury is preferable to a Florida jury for this particular prosecution, but then again south Florida is very Democratic, and that makes it harder to claim that the choice of venue was/is political. Frankly, DOJ will face such claims no matter what. — PolitiTweet.org

...right or wrong, no one seems to imagine Trump will be detained pretrial, which means if he’s charged in DC he’d have to willingly go there from Florida to surrender himself or else face the possibility of detention in Florida and then extradition to DC. That may get very ugly. — PolitiTweet.org
