(PS) What's remarkable about some of the Proud Boys showing up to the Capitol early with a prior plan to "breach the Capitol" is that Trump inspired insurrection twice: once by telling the Proud Boys to "stand by," a battle cry they took up; once by inciting a crowd to join them. — PolitiTweet.org

This timeline is great. Note: the men in blaze orange hats and tactical gear are Arizona Proud Boys. The WSJ reports the group sparked the first barricade being toppled. They were at the Capitol early; a Proud Boys account had previously said the group would "breach the Capitol." — PolitiTweet.org

According to the New York Times timeline, the Capitol grounds were breached over an hour before the Capitol itself was breached. It is incredible to me that no reinforcements arrived at the Capitil in that hour-plus window. The fight for the Capitol was lost right then and there. — PolitiTweet.org
