I managed to get hold of it and several claws on both feet were caught in a surprisingly short piece of string or twine whose strands had partly unravelled. Either the weight or the awareness that its feet were effectively tied together was presumably why it didn't want to fly. — PolitiTweet.org

It didn't protest too much as I tried to free it, feeling like it would be easy to break its leg with a single finger. When I got one foot free it did some kind of escapoligy somersault out of my hand and was away flying across the Thames. — PolitiTweet.org
