To answer; Govt, and not #BBC, has paid annual £500m (not £450m) for free TV licences for over 75s. BBC got a package of £200m when it had to take policy over. Leaves BBC £50m short when it provides just for those on pension credit (£250m). Hence job losses at BBC. — PolitiTweet.org
