It's true: Bill Clinton seemed headed for a beatdown in 1996 circa 1994. That did not last very long into 1995. But the 1996 primary challengers were Jesse Jackson, Jerry Brown and Bob Casey. (None ran.) Bubba wasn't 80. Ultra MAGA could play better w GOP majority, however. — PolitiTweet.org
