Here’s some context. Nuevo Laredo is a large city and in 2011 the entire municipal police force was disbanded because they were nearly all working as enforcers for Los Zetas cartel. https://t.co/6hbp5lKfzm — PolitiTweet.org

Often times in Nuevo Laredo, when Los Zetas wants you, they send the authorities such as police or military to get you for them. Does that answer your question? — PolitiTweet.org

Mexico has military, State police, and a national guard. None of them will go into Nuevo Laredo? https://t.co/7hMbRqynCY

Los Zetas changed their name to CDN, but it’s largely the same people and same leaders. We don’t allow them to rebrand themselves and brush off the baggage for what they’ve done. Most US and some Mexican agencies fell for it and call them “CDN.” We still use Los Zetas (CDN) — PolitiTweet.org
