Ethan, the intent of the 2nd Amendment was self defense. But to carry a gun in NY, this law required u to have a special reason BEYOND simply self defense. That’s just not constitutional. Even the majority today said background checks, mandatory training, etc ARE constitutional. — PolitiTweet.org
