As someone who comes from the Republican base, I concur with this wrinkle. The base will cling to Trump/Trumpism for the foreseeable future. Until someone snaps them out of it. And Republicans like Mitt Romney, John Kasich & Larry Hogan aren’t capable of snapping them out of it. — PolitiTweet.org
