Just to be clear, I'm not saying the NYT lied. Schmidt -- who obviously has his own interests and biases -- claims the campaign spun an elaborate lie. I was at that Toledo news conference and saw how hard they pushed back. And the lobbyist successfully got the NYT to add a note. — PolitiTweet.org
