If an airline—let’s say Delta, because it was—bumps someone, they owe you. If they cancel your flight entirely for non-weather, however, & don’t give you an equivalent direct flight, they don’t owe you a thing. Do the folks writing regulations actually think any of this through? — PolitiTweet.org
