These appearances have always been conflicts of interest. If SCOTUS is *actually* concerned about seeming politicized, don't do them. The people have no recourse b/c as Rehnquist noted re financial disclosure rules, we can't hold them accountable b/c they are Above The Law. — PolitiTweet.org
