@HugoGye It was very deliberate spin by Tory ministers after the filibuster. The pardon provisions were tacked on to another piece of legislation. Crucially (and unlike my Bill which I had introduced with the promise of Government support) it pardoned only the dead not the living. — PolitiTweet.org
