I never made an “off the record” agreement over this other reporter’s email, which was sent to me unsolicited. But also…I never published the unsolicited email! I simply asked a follow reporter if the email the PAC had sent me was a real email this reporter had sent the PAC. — PolitiTweet.org

I’ll add that the email from the other reporter did not prove the PAC’s claims or something; was pretty unremarkable. But it’s highly unusual to be sent another reporter’s email as supposed evidence of some sort, so I reached out to the reporter to ask what the deal was. The end. — PolitiTweet.org
