@Mikelowrybmore @ddiamond I remembered I had been on the WikiTravel "scams to avoid" (or whatever) page weeks earlier, and it had mentioned this precise scam. So I just started being like NOPE TAKE ME TO MY HOTEL. The best part was they then had a guy on route stop us and yell "security incident!" — PolitiTweet.org
