@daveweigel Yeah, for sure - that was the context of the initial version, that Obama had the “backbone” to do it over the team’s hedging and Biden’s own “don’t go” advice at the meeting. But then he started saying he’d never say “don’t go” at a meeting, and actually said “go,” in private. — PolitiTweet.org
