This is right. The best way to help the poorest with the increased cost of living is to use UC. Also right to identify a big reason why Govt reluctant to do this. If it wants a temporary measure to counteract a temporary spike in costs, UC harder to reverse than a bespoke scheme. — PolitiTweet.org
