Of course, it all depends on precisely the Govt has in mind. If retrospectively changing the law, that’s unacceptable. If prospectively, Govts have always had the ability to pass legislation. But will this involve a new procedure with less Parliamentary scrutiny? See this thread. — PolitiTweet.org
