Interested to know from @Keir_Starmer what would be the criteria for ending a circuit breaker lockdown? Would it last for 2 or 3 weeks regardless of what happens to cases? Would he be content to lift it even if deaths were still going up, given that they're a lagging indicator? — PolitiTweet.org

Logically, the tests for a circuit breaker lockdown should be about new cases and rates of transmissions not hospitalisations or deaths. But you'd have to make that clear in advance because it'll be very difficult to lift restrictions while death numbers are still growing. — PolitiTweet.org
