Normally, the cost/benefit of any changes in VAT get passed on to the customer. Wouldn’t be surprised if that doesn’t happen with the VAT cut for hospitality (it’ll be interesting to see). But if it enables businesses to stay afloat, HMT will consider it a success. — PolitiTweet.org
