@BrendanCuti yup. I always felt like transparency in earmarks - like making congress subject to FOIA for instance - would help curb the bad. with term limits ... maybe its more terms? i dunno tbh — PolitiTweet.org

Not necessarily surprising, but still interesting that old school racist ads didn't end up working for Gusman in the New Orleans Sheriff's race - and may have backfired - but def did in St Tammany's casino vote. Slidell ain't so geographically far, but morally it sure seems to be — PolitiTweet.org
