The city is, in fact, filling potholes. Last year they filled almost 37,000, and between 2010 and 2016 they filled 360,000!!!! The fact that they could do so much and yet nobody really feels like potholes are being dealt with is a testament to how big of a problem our streets are — PolitiTweet.org

On a related note, the city is currently doing $600 million in FEMA funded street projects, which are separate from pothole repairs. that's a huge jump from the normal $20 to $40 million in projects that are normally being done at any one time — PolitiTweet.org
