I’d really love to hear from all y’all Black freelancers in nola and the surrounding parishes. racial justice stories would be great, but honestly anything. I’m not tryna pigeonhole black writers into the “Black beat,” especially since Blackness runs through this whole city — PolitiTweet.org

So I'm still getting settled at @the_gambit but figured now was as good a time as any to point out we take freelance pitches and would love to hear from ya. In particular, I want to step up our coverage of stuff that’s either affecting or coming out of the Black community — PolitiTweet.org

So I’d love pieces on pretty much anything involving the Black community in Nola and the surrounding environs. Food, social justice, culture, education, politics, art, profiles, cowboy shit, music, whatever! — PolitiTweet.org
