@bsdtectr The minimum wage fight, at least in dc in the service industry, was complicated. I knew servers, bartenders, and bar backs on both sides, though I think a majority were opposed to the bill because of how it might hurt tips, which in practice are only partially taxable — PolitiTweet.org
