This year, I was proud to vote to finally make sure the 9/11 victims’ fund never runs out of money. Our gratitude for these heroic first responders will last forever, and now, so will our commitment. — PolitiTweet.org

Today, we remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. That day was one of incredible horror but also one of incredible courage by first responders and ordinary Americans who risked everything in the face of unspeakable tragedy. We owe it to them to #NeverForget. — PolitiTweet.org

After 9/11, Congress established a fee tacked onto airline tickets to help finance the mission of securing our nation’s transportation system. But in 2013, Congress started to divert 1/3 of this revenue for “deficit reduction.” We need to stop raiding these funds. — PolitiTweet.org
