@CaitlinKellyNYC I don't think we should capitulate to that with people whose job is delivering information. I was taught the assumption - certainly with public officials - is we are on the record unless otherwise agreed to, provided we make clear we are journalists reaching out in that capacity. — PolitiTweet.org
