Again, confusing, because Trump. And also the headline of the release says they are banning "transactions" - which understandably makes people think you can't send $ or buy things on WeChat. But that's not what the decree says, and it's not what Wilbur Ross says. — PolitiTweet.org

To be clear: I don't know how/if a Comcast/Verizon/etc would be able to turn off WeChat on their networks. But that's the intent of this.
