Respect For Marriage Act has a chicken-or-egg problem. Chuck Schumer wants Republicans to confirm enough votes to break a filibuster before he puts it on the floor, and plenty of GOP senators (McConnell included) don't want to take a stance until Schumer puts it on the floor. — PolitiTweet.org

Schumer said the priorities for this work period are chips, pact act and reconciliation. Seems like Respect for Marriage act will slip.
