Decades ago, when there was more air pollution, sunsets were often beet-red. That color would refract into Earth’s shadow in space tinting the fully eclipsed Moon. Haven’t seen that effect in years. The Moon more commonly goes dark, leaving nothing “bloody” about the Blood Moon — PolitiTweet.org
